It's not everyday you walk in to see a fox asleep on your sofa but this is exactly what happened when teachers at a school in southwest London discovered when they entered their staffroom last week. The animal was photographed curled up asleep and staff put up a sign asking that people be quiet near the animal until the RSPCA arrived. Karen McIntosh who teached Biology shared a snap of the fox on Twitter and it has since been liked by over 25,000 people!
Responding to questions, Ms McIntosh said that the incident was resolved calmly.
"Very peaceful.... locked the door, kept quiet and called the RSPCA who came and removed it safely and swiftly... so sad to see it go.
"However by the looks of things, this wasn't the first visit so might not be the last."
