BREAKING: National Trust cancels all “trail hunts” for remainder of season

Following the decision taken by Forestry England on Wednesday to suspend all trail hunting licences with immediate effect, the National Trust have now also confirmed that they will be pausing all trail hunting on their land and will not be issuing any licences for the remainder of the season.

This is incredibly welcome news for wildlife and Keep The Ban fully supports this decision and asks that the temporary pause becomes a permanent one. For too long the hunts have been getting away with using the lie that is “trail hunting” to illegally chase and kill foxes and it is about time all landowners across the country follow suit and also ban the hunts.

In the meantime, you can still SIGN our petition calling on the Forestry England ban on trail hunts to be made permanent.
